DJ AzA:


The emotional journey in life that we all face is an epic and an entertaining one. DJ Aza reflects this in his every movement and feel within the realms of music. Once behind the decks he has this ability to touch our inner most musical being as well as our emotional sense and combine them both, to leave you feeling as though your soul has been touched.  DJ Aza has had an extensive musical back ground and utilizes this when spreading his love for the decks out on to the dance floor.  His decision wasn’t hard to make to follow the decks and pursue them as far as could take them. From the tender age of 10 he was thrusted into the DJ world doing Mobile gigs using tape tracks and turntables. Travelling around England with a professional mobile DJ he learnt that there was more to music than just one song. DJ Aza was amazed at what could happen using three different songs to create one musical moment, this caught with in him and held him to become the DJ he is today.

Growing up in Potters Bar, England DJ Aza learnt about music through not just one instrument but many such as, piano, flute, harmonica, drums he was desperate to find out how it all worked. His imagination took over to show within his production side of music. By DJ Aza making sure he knew every aspect including repairing equipment of music he allowed himself to be not just a player but a creator of music. His childhood influences like Madness, Fleetwood Mac, Hall & Oats, Queen, Blondie, Frankie goes to Hollywood, EMF, Snap helped him realise what music was about and that was the journey in which a song and songs can take you.
Now armed with this uncontrollable urge to get behind the decks he had no other option but to do it. With great musical producers / DJ’s like Pete Tong, Fat Boy Slim, Mondo, Armin Van Burin, Tiesto, Sebatian Ledger, Miles Dyson as his driving force he was an untamed animal. Starting out with Energy Trance he had found his calling as he had thought. The powerful driving bass lines with fantastically emotional synths was captivating and making him wanting more. Once he had opened the clubbers eyes to the way he was going to transfer this language of music he was completely at home. He has never felt out of place behind the decks with the way he moves the room to his music prowess. Not only does DJ Aza play these amazing tunes but when finishing his set will head home to try and replicate those bass lines to create his own spin on them. The vast imagination of DJ Aza has also seen him move to House and Electro combining them to create what one can only say a masterpiece of music. With his huge amount of experience he has become a Jedi of what it means to be a DJ not just a show piece. He knows how to read a crowd, How to change the atmosphere, how to become one with the crowd, a very rare trait within the DJ world.

Now residing in Brisbane Australia he has played up and down the east coast as well as Perth in Western Australia, bringing with him his founded talent from the UK.

DJ Aza has the ability to make you feel every beat and every breakdown with in a song as if it was your own. This talented DJ will leave you breathless after one of his ultimate journeys of a set.

As DJ Aza would say “Music makes the world go round”. With this I will leave you with one statement that is “Music can be an ambassador for communication in a world of ciaos, let me be that person for you”.
